Karma Kagyu Monastery is located in the Zuo-zheng District of Tainan City, a monastery of Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism, mainly worships Sakyamuni (Buddha). This is the first Tsunglin monastery of Kagyu school in Taiwan.
The master of this monastery, Lopon Tenzin Rinpoche, is said to be the first living Buddha born in Taiwan. He mainly believes in interpreting Tibetan Buddhism in the Chinese way.
